Boot Camp Challenge
Weather permitting, at the beach or town hall
This program consists of three different elements: assessments, nutritional guidance and exercise program. Assessments include health history, body compositions and measurements, cardiovascular and muscular endurance which are done at beginning and end of session. Nutritional guidance includes providing feedback based on entries of recording daily food intake. Back-to-basics exercises such as: core and cardio endurance training, calisthenics, strength training and agility drills for all abilities. The rewarding possibilities will be increased energy, muscle tone, improved sleep and of course, weight loss with consistent attendance.

Running for Fitness
This 12-week running program is designed to help you complete a 5 k (3.1 mile) and/or 10K (6.2 miles) run . The program offers tips and information about learning to run and nutrition, improving your running performance, getting faster, increasing your health and fitness in addition to building strength or losing weight. Possible field trips- April 26 Westport 5K and June 7 Central Park 10k if interested additional fees for participating in races not included. We will meet outside weather permitting.

Nutrition
The hour will consists of a topic of nutritional interest as well as question and answers. Examples of topics for discussion include but not limited to: grocery store trip, Integrative Nutrition food pyramid, USDA healthy eating pyramid, importance of fruit and vegetables, caloric intake and food journaling, Various Diets, Food Fear Factor, Macrobiotics, Water, Oxygen, Glycolic Index Disease Prevention, Causes of Cravings, Weight Loss, Importance of relationships, Understanding of different fats and carbohydrates.
